About the Role:

We’re looking for a sharp, creative scriptwriter to help us tell football’s deeper stories through long-form YouTube essays. If you’re someone who can take an obscure football topic and turn it into a compelling, visually-driven narrative, this is for you. You’ll be writing for a global, culturally aware audience that cares about the nuance in football, not just the tactical analysis.

Essential Requirements:

• Exceptional storytelling and scriptwriting ability — clear, compelling, and conversational

• A deep passion for football, with an understanding of its cultural, historical, and emotional dimensions

• Ability to structure narrative tension, balance analysis with entertainment, and write for visual-first formats

• Strong research skills and independent initiative

Desirable:

• Experience writing for YouTube or visual media

• Familiarity with storytelling channels like Tifo, Vox, or ColdFusion

• Understanding of pacing, scripting to visuals, and writing hooks for audience retention
