Established in 2011, Plaantik is a social platform for football fans that curates the top football content and produces original material for the world to see. From social media engagement to real-life events, Plaantik aims to provide a 360-degree experience for the modern football fan. 

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented and creative YouTube video scriptwriter to join our team and help us produce high-quality, long-form video essays on football for our YouTube channel. The successful candidate will have a deep passion for football and a strong understanding of the sport, as well as excellent writing and storytelling skills.

Essential Requirements:

• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to write in a clear, concise, and engaging style

• Knowledge and passion for football and the ability to write about the sport in an informed and entertaining way

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Excellent time-management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines

Desirable Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a script writer or researcher for other content based media entities or YouTube channels

• Proven ability to create content that performs well on YouTube, with a track record of success in growing subscribers and views is an advantage

• Strong understanding of YouTube's platform and algorithms

• Familiarity with YouTube analytics and the ability to use data to inform content strategy and improve video performance
